Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer along with Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder believes she is Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. When Ryder was seven, her family relocated into Mendocino County California. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder, who was an avid reader when she was 12, became a bookworm because Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes when Ryder was 12, at the American Conservatory Theatre. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder was bullied throughout her time in high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actress could make a difference. However, it didn't come pass. However, she continued to pursue her ambitions. Her big break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her parts in a variety of films. In 1993 she won an Oscar Awards for The Age of Innocence.
